Present Moment Awareness
So much of our time is spent trying to plan for the future (through worry or expectation) or thinking of the past (through nostalgia or regret). We find it hard to stay in the present moment. And when we are in the present moment, we may be multitasking or distracting ourselves in some way.
I wanted to offer this 5-minute meditation as a way to practice being in the present moment. The meditation offers three points to bring your attention to that may feel a little silly (focus on your feet). This offers a tangible focus on places that we might not naturally go.
As always, take what is helpful and leave the rest. I hope you have the week you need.
