The road to licensure is challenging. I provide supervision to help you navigate the challenges in your practice and feel confident in your next steps as an LCSW. I want to help you find your unique clinical approach and assist with strategies to make your clinical challenges manageable.
Supervision should be a safe environment for you to learn and grow as a clinician. I take a reflective approach to supervision, with an intersectional lens, focusing on the environments and identities that impact you, your clients, and the relationship between you and your clients.
My Experience
Modalities
In my current practice, I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Somatic Experiencing (SE), Safe and Sound Protocol (SSP), ecotherapy, and harm reduction. I have a history of working with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and can speak from that lens, as well. I am also a bit of a theory nerd, so am happy to learn a new modality alongside you.
Work History
I graduated with my master’s program in Social Work in 2017 from University of Chicago. Prior to graduating the program, I focused on providing services for IPV/Sexual Assault Survivors and case management services at a shelter for unhoused folks. My work prior to licensure included outpatient therapy (for individuals and groups) at a community mental health clinic and mobile crisis intervention. I currently have a private practice where I work with adults with a primary focus on anxiety, neurodivergence, and LGBTQ+ individuals.
